Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have to complete the course?

You have 6 months from the date of enrollment to complete all 12 modules. Extensions are available upon request.

Is this course approved by the Ministry of the Solicitor General?

Yes. The Spider Security Force training program meets the requirements of the Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA), 2005.

Do I need any prior experience to enroll?

No prior security experience is required. You must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in Ontario.

What happens after I complete the course?

You will receive a Certificate of Completion. You can then apply for your Ontario Security Guard Licence through the Ministry of the Solicitor General.

Can I study at my own pace?

Yes. All modules are available online and can be completed at any time, from any device.
